So, I created one.
 

I've never had a lasting relationship from someone I met off an app.  Speed dating doesn't appeal to me.  AT ALL.  All of my relationships post divorce have been meeting people through activities that I enjoy.  However, as I have aged, I find there are less and less opportunities, and  less and less encounters with single people.  
 

So I began to ask:

What if you walked into a space where everyone was single?
 

What if it wasn’t just a bar — but a variety of environments with people open to connecting?
 

What if the people there were in your stage of life?

 The odds would change.
The guesswork would disappear.
No more scanning for rings or wondering who’s available.  
 

And even if you don’t meet “your person,” the night isn’t wasted — you’re still out, having a great time, surrounded by people who get it, doing something you enjoy.

The truth is, dating can be tough.
Recess was created to shift the odds — to make meeting people feel more natural, more fun, and a lot less frustrating.
